How VS-TAXI collects and uses your personal data when you use this site, and what rights you have over it.

Data controller

What we collect
We only collect what you send us through the booking request form:
- Identity: first name, last name
- Contact details: phone number, email address
- Journey: pickup address, drop-off address, date and time, one way or return
- Travel details: number of passengers, luggage, equipment carried, child seat, pets
- Free text: anything you choose to add
No account is created, no profile is built, and your data is never used for advertising.
Medical transport
The form includes a "Medical transport" checkbox. Ticking it indicates a need for medical transport, which counts as health data — a category the GDPR protects more strictly.
The box is optional. By ticking it you give explicit consent for us to receive this information, solely to arrange your journey and handle reimbursement. You may withdraw that consent at any time by writing to us.
Please do not send detailed medical information through this form: no diagnosis, no treatment, no social security number. Those matters are handled by phone or during the journey.

How long we keep it
- Enquiry with no follow-up
- 12 months from the last exchange
- Completed journey
- For the duration of the business relationship, then 3 years

- Deleted once the journey has taken place
- Accounting records
- 10 years, as required by French commercial law
Who has access
Your data is handled by the manager of VS-TAXI. It is never sold, rented or passed to third parties for commercial purposes.
Two technical providers are involved, solely to run the service:
- Netlify, Inc.
- Website hosting and form handling. A US company: the transfer relies on the safeguards provided for under the GDPR for transfers outside the European Union.
- OVH SAS
- Email. Data hosted in France.
Your rights
At any time you may ask for:
- access to the data we hold about you
- correction of anything inaccurate
- erasure of your data
- restriction of processing
- portability, in a machine-readable format
- and to object to processing
Write to contact@vs-taxi.com. We reply within one month. We may ask for proof of identity if there is any doubt.
If our answer does not satisfy you, you may lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority — CNIL, 3 place de Fontenoy, TSA 80715, 75334 Paris Cedex 07, www.cnil.fr.
Cookies
This site sets no advertising cookies, no analytics cookies and no third-party trackers. No consent banner is therefore required.

The valley map on this site is an image, with no connection to any third-party service. The "Open in Google Maps" link only contacts Google if you click it.
